POTATO RICHARDSON’S BOOTCAMP

The BootCamp training normally consists of two full days however certain circumstances demand an additional day. Tevis proven horses are used because the training is for the rider not the horse. The training is conducted on some sections of the Tevis trail and includes a ride from Sliger Mine Ranch to the Tevis Finish line in Auburn crossing “No Hands Bridge” on the way.

Training is focused on special techniques that give the rider an advantage over most riders and is also very advantages to the horse as we incorporate special tips that minimize the possibility of fatigue and lameness of the horse. The training includes lecture presentations in addition to the trail time.

Over the 40 plus years of Tevis involvement with over 70% completions on many different horses the results prove the value of the training. Attendees need to be in reasonable good shape and experienced riders. Accommodations can be arranged at local motels or Sliger Mine Ranch Airbnb. Lunch is included in the tuition fee.

Dates are arranged on availability and the daily fee is $1,000.00 USD/attendee.
